So it was a good week! On thursday we had our Christmas conference with President. It was really good, and the gift exchange was really fun. One elder ended up with a giant bag of used clothing. So funny. I gave a plunger and wrote ¨Repentace: Unclog Your Life.¨ and put a scripture about how much joy we have when we repent. It´s in dyc 18 or something. I got chocolate. Nice!
Update on Josefina. She recieved a waxing machine for her birthday! So we´re going to go take advantage of it one of these mondays. Haha. It was funny because she told us about her first time waxing more uncomfortable parts of the body. My companion was laughing so hard.
We had a good ward activity that was focused in missionary work on saturady. It was really good but we lost power (again) right before it started, so it started off a little rough, but a choir came and performed so the people really liked that. We had about 7 investigators there, but nobody came to church the next day. We´re still working on that! They´ll come eventually! We have a new WML and he has got a bunch of plans so we´re pretty excited about that. Hermana Smith´s mom sent a package with a bunch of decorating stuff so this week at night we made these tree things, a fabric tree on the wall, and decorated sugar cookies. Tomorrow night we´re going to have our own little nativity thing. The Christmas traditions here are really low key. Everyone just has a dinner on the 24th and then at midnight they open all their presents. We don´t have permission to be up later though so we are just going to the dinner of some members. We´re excited though!
Anyway, that´s basically all I can think of. I´m excited slash totally nervous to see everyone on Christmas! Don´t get me trunky! :)Love you,Catron
