hey family!A lot of keys stick so this probably wont be that great of a letter. Also because this was a pretty weird week. First things first- cambios! Turns out, nothing changed! The four of us will be living another cambio together. That will make 4 and a half months. The AP played a huge joke on me saying that I was going to Vallenar (there are no sisters there) and made it super real (complete with sector, companion, even another elder getting on and saying it was true (becuase I refused to believe it)). I finally started to believe and then they were like, just kidding! arg. We killed Elder Hales this week- he died so, so good. We were all really proud of him becuse until the very last day he was working and trying to find new investigators. But we had a big party slash memorial service for him at the zone meeting- it was pretty funny. On wednesday there was a family tragedy in the family of a sister in our zone who has just barely started her mission. So that day we ended up staying with her all day to try and distract her and we made tacos (she´s from mexico) and had a sleepover. It was a hard situation because she is the only member in her family, and so she doesn´t have that assurance and peace that comes from knowing that you are in an eternal family. We all hope that her mother decides to listen to the missionaries now so they can acheive the goal to be together with the dad again. We also had a meeteing with the assistants to teach us how to work better with members. It was a really good meeting and we all feel way better about the concept. Mom, thanks for your email about sharing the gospel with other people. I hope you are all praying every single day to have missionary opportunities and, because that´s totally passive, praying to know who is ready to hear the gospel. We are starting to work a lot with member so that they are constantly praying about those things. The last interesting thing was that a SNAKE from Iquique found us here. He told me he was from zegers and I didn`t recognize him at first but then I remember that I had met him my very second day in the mission. I remember that VanMeter wrote in his notebook ^thanks for all the creepy conversations. go to church.¨ and then put the ZLs number from another city there. So funny. I was crying that day, and for the rest of my time in iquiue he thought I looooved him. So that made for an interesting day that I hope never happens again. Anyway, that´s basically everything from this week. We are working with two men from Peru (Angel and Ney) who have gone to church a few times. we havent´ been able to teach them very much, but prayers would be appreciated.
