GENERAL CONFERENCE WAS SOOOOOO GOOOOOOD.
That´s how I felt about it. I hope everyone brought at least one
friend, since it was so incredible. I will tell you about my favorite
parts.
Elder Holland`s was incredible. President Eyring´s was probably my
favorite though, talking about changing our will. I thought it was cool
because he talked about marriage (something I have ZERO interest in right now)
but made it into a talk that related to every single person. I felt the
spirit so strong! Elder Scott also had an incredible message- I had never
really thought about the fathers of the stripling warriors that way and
listening to it I was filled with the spirit so strongly that I stopped taking
notes and was just captivated, so hopefully I can get that printed out soon or I
can listen to it. Elder McConkie´s was also really great and I learned a
lot about how to become a better missionary. I think this conference might
have even been better than April 2012, the greatest conference ever. The
worst part about it was that all our investigators that were going to go to the
Sunday morning session bailed. It frustrated us
a little at first, but then we saw the conference and were SO SAD that they
didn´t come because their lives would have changed so much for the better if
they had been able to experience the spirit that had been there.
The other best part of the weekend was that on Saturday we went
to eat brunch at the stake preisdent´s house and it was the greatest thing I
have tasted since I have been in Chile. Pancakes with syrup and penut
butter and fresh strawberries, sausage, eggs, toast, homemake cheesecake,
brownies, and muffins, three different types of homemade juice made from fresh
fruit. We were all in heaven. Seriously. And she put on
Christmas music and I was the happiest girl in the world.
The other interesting things that happened this week were that we had
interviews with President and we had consejo de liderazgo. Interviews were
really great- we talked a lot about the situation that happened with Salomón the
week before about about the atonement´s healing power.
Hey! I just realized that I can send pictures finally!!!!! I´m
going to do that now instead of blabbing about things because this might be my
only chance. Keep praying for us. We are working hard and are
praying for miracles!!! Love you all! WELCOME TO THE WORLD NEW
NEPHEW!!!
